Over the years our school has done extremely well with regarding to. Last year, our school won quite a number of sports events. Some of the Achievements for 2009 include:
Sports Achievements
1st Term 2009 1. January 8th – 10th Samuel Ndonga Silver medalist in zone 4 Sub-Sahara invitational swimming championships in South Africa. 2. January 24th -25th NASA “A” swimming gala three swimmers -Lisa Mercy, Cian Omondi and Stephanie Owino qualified for AA 3. January 24th under 10 tennis tournament 6 finalists-Leah Atieno, Santana Oboi, Brian Munene, Tafle Bajabre, Antony Kimani and Ryan Ekwee 4. February 3rd Inter house swimming gala at coca cola national stadium-yellow emerged winners followed by red house, green house then blue house. 5. February 14th -15th NASA “AA” swimming gala two swimmers-Stephanie Owino and Lisa Mercy qualified for AAA 6. February 21st -22nd NASA “AAA” swimming gala 1st runners up boys team 13yr and under 7. March 7th -8th Overall winners YMCA Swimming Gala. 8. March 14th winners under 12 basketball tournament at Rusinga School-Bramwel Kimokoti, Jonathan Obewa, Angela Mganda, Tatiana Wairimu, Tony Achar, Cliff Kisero, Christine Kinoro, Jeff Mboya, Paul Sam Wafula, Mathew Kamau, Annemarie Nkirote & Allocious Kamau. 9. March 14th -15th NASA sprints & relay swimming gala -2nd Runner Up 10. March 20th -23rd Samuel Ndonga participated in South Africa Level 2 swimming Gala.
2nd Term 2009
1. Participated in Kenya Swimming Federation Swimming Gala National Junior Championship 16th May -17th May 2009 ranked 6th Position 2. NASA Barclay's Age Group Swimming Championship 23-24th May 2009 ranked 4th position in 9-12years 3. KSCA Sprints and open championship 30-31st May 2009 ranked 1st position in boys 9-12 years and 3rd position in girls 9 years and under. 4. 19th June 2009 Annual Sports Day at Nyayo National Stadium-1st Position Blue House, 2nd Yellow House, 3rd Red House and 4th Position Green House. 5. Tennis-Bantu Kinama 6Maroon got to quarters while Brian Munene 6 Green got to semis in novices tournament. Nicole Simiyu 3 Red, Joseph Okututi 4 Green and Kioko Muthusi 6 Grey got to quarters final in tennis toto 10 & under. 6. 4th July participated in Taekwondo Junior Championship at Msingi Bora School. 7. Won all friendly basketball matches and football matches. 8. 27-2nd two Makini Teams will represent the school in Umbro tournament in Manchester UK
